If we combine all the reporting bits from the example, the full report for this variable, might have looked something like:
A question of interest was if the ability of the teacher to motivate the students had an influence on the overall grade students gave the course. Students could give the course a grade from 0 (low) to 100 (high). The results are shown in Figure 1.
As can be seen Figure 1 there seems to be an increase in grade if the teacher was able to motivate the students, while the variation in grade seems to decrease. The Spearman’s rho showed that there was a significant strong positive association between how motivational the teacher was, and the grade the students gave to the course, rs = .787, p < .001.
